Blackhawk Music Academy provides comprehensive music lessons for all levels. There are both Certificate of Merit and non-certificate of merit program tracks. The Certificate of Merit program requires an audition & an in-person interview process. Please see our current course offerings below.
PIANO LESSONS
FUN AND GOAL ORIENTED - NON CM
Piano Lessons are available for both children and adults. Our goal is to have you play easy piano music in 6 months without any experience.
CERTIFICATE OF MERIT PROGRAM
PREPARE STUDENTS FOR CERTIFICATE OF MERIT PROGRAM.
Create well rounded musicianship. Instruction will include Piano techniques and performances, sight reading training, and ear training.
MUSIC THEORY
LEARN THE FUNDAMENTAL MUSIC THEORY AND MUSIC HISTORY
This class aims to guide students through the foundations of music theory and beyond. Students will prepare for Certificate of Merit theory exams from Levels 1 to Advance.
